Classes are held inside. During the summer some classes are held outside.

Yoga is a series of fluid poses practiced for both health and relaxation. It works to unite body, mind, and breath to bring about strength, flexibility and balance–there is a focused, meditative quality to the practice which allows for stillness and clarity.  Why do yoga?  It feels amazing, and it is good for you inside and out!

HATHA VINYASA

This style of yoga links specific poses in a fluid manner which warms up the body and prevents injury. Postures will require more strength and stamina than basic yoga and fluid movements between poses will bring more intensity to the practice.

GENTLE YOGA

Due to the popularity of Gentle Yoga, the RACC is adding another class for the summer months. We will now offer an additional class on Wednesday.

YOGA AND POETRY

Come enjoy a morning of writing before, during and after your yoga practice!  Doing yoga moves us inside and brings out a curiosity to discover new layers which can then be shared outwardly through writing!  The yoga portion will meet all levels between gentle and intermediate with modifications to allow everyone to feel safe.  Min 10/Max 12

Yoga and Poetry with Cathy Tucci
Wednesdays, 9:00 – 11:15 am, $90.00.  Must pre-register at csdtucci@comcast.net for this 6-week class.  April 12-May 17. No Drop-ins.
WHAT TO BRING:  Yoga mat, water, notebook and pen or pencil
WHAT TO WEAR: Dress in layers

CORE BOOST YOGA

An intermediate level class which will incorporate more core work throughout the practice.  Postures are specifically selected to build core strength and stamina, and fluid movement between poses will bring intensity to the practice.
