Join the Richland Area Community Center as we adventure to Chicago during the holiday season for the beloved One-of-a-Kind Show and the highly-rated Christkindlmarket, known for holiday gifts, food and spirits – or explore on your own!

Tour includes round trip transportation to downtown Chicago, and admittance to the One-of-a-Kind Show, Chicago’s premier holiday destination for unique, handmade gifts by more than 600 artists, makers and designers. We’ll also visit the outdoor ChristKindlmarket, named the number one Christmas Market outside of Europe by Big 7 Travel.

If you are just looking to wander on your own, you can do that as well, as long as you’re at the bus prior to departure from the Christkindlmarket.

Now in its 24th year, the One-of-a-Kind Show, takes place on the 7th floor of the Merchandise Mart, the largest commercial space in the world! The space is divided into six, easy-to-navigate areas for the fashion district, the gourmet market, fine art gallery and emerging artists. The shopping is fun, interesting, and always, full of ONE-OF-A-KIND gifts for everyone on your list.

The Christkindlmarket unites cherished German and European tradition with international flair and local charm. Christkindlmarket is well-known for its vendors’ high quality gifts and food, and holiday cheer.

Chicago is a vibrant city with bold skyscrapers, incredible architecture, a delectable food scene, exquisite shopping, and people watching!

Let us do the driving, parking, and stowing of packages while you ENJOY!

You’ll depart Richland at 8:00 am, after enjoying some delicious baked goods and coffee. Lunch and dinner are on your own, a small snack will be provided on the way home. Estimated arrival back to Richland is 10:15 pm.

Must be 16 or older to attend this trip. This tour will require walking unassisted. The Christkindlmarket is outdoors, dress appropriately. There is room under the bus for packages.

Registration and payment due by November 28, 2025. You may register and pay in-person at the RACC during open hours or online below. Tickets will go quickly, so don’t delay registering!
