đArt & Nature Series – Fantastic Flower Weavingđ
Join local author and illustrator Gina Stevens for a bright and joyful morning where creativity and the natural world come together in this handsâon Art & Nature class. By guiding young creators through her playful artistic process and working with each child individually, Gina will help students design and weave their very own colorful flower creation from start to finish.
In this class, children will begin by setting up their weaving boards and preparing for a vibrant, tactile project. Then, theyâll head out on a nature walk to gather flowers, leaves, and inspiration from the world around them. Back in the classroom, Gina will show them how to weave these natural treasures into their boards, creating a cheerful, oneâofâaâkind flower weaving theyâll be excited to take home. As a dedicated creator of whimsical childrenâs stories and illustrations, Gina brings a warm, encouraging approach that sparks imagination and helps kids feel confident in their creativity. Suitable for all skill levels.
