Tai Chi is a series of slow moving exercises performed smoothly and accurately, where the muscles are relaxed and the mind absorbed in each movement. It is gentle, not strenuous and the rewards are great! Tai Chi has been shown to have a positive effect on muscle strength, flexibility and balance, and can be practiced by people of all ages.
Due to the nature of Tai Chi, which it builds upon what you’ve learned in previous classes, Intermediate class drop-ins are discouraged, unless you are an experienced Tai Chi student.
What to Wear: Comfortable clothes are recommended, soft flexible shoes or socks can be worn, trainers or tennis shoes are not recommended as the feet need to be flexible.
