Enjoy the Health Benefits of Tai Chi!
with Pauline Cox

“I am really enthusiastic to share the art of Tai-Chi with everyone, as I know the benefits are great!”

Tai Chi-Intermediate
Wednesday, 5:30-6:30 pm, $5.00

Due to the nature of Tai Chi, which builds upon what you’ve learned n previous classes, Intermediate class drop-ins are discouraged unless you’re an experienced Tai Chi student.

Tai Chi is a series of slow moving exercises performed smoothly and accurately, where the muscles are relaxed and the mind absorbed in each movement. It is gentle, non-strenuous and the rewards are great! Tai Chi has been shown to have a positive effect on muscle strength, flexibility and balance, and can be practiced by people of all ages.

The rewards of Tai-Chi are great. It helps relax and calm the body which aids the circulatory system, respiratory system, digestive system, glandular system, metabolism and immune system.

Pauline also incorporates Chi Kung into the program, which helps the flow of natural energy and helps to bring peace-of-mind.

What to Wear: Comfortable clothes are recommended, soft flexible shoes or socks can be worn.  Trainers or tennis shoes are not recommended as the feet need to be flexible.
