KIA: Introduction to Camera Control and Basic Photography
Instructor: Mary Whalen
6 Week Class. Mondays, beginning July 15
KIA Members: $120 Non-members: $140
The class is designed for students that want to learn how to use controls on their cameras to improve their photographs. Basic photographic concepts are explored through hands-on, in-class exercises and lectures. Participants need to provide their own cameras. The camera needs to have user controls of shutter speed and lens opening. A tripod is recommended. Please bring your owner’s manual to the first class. Students should bring their camera to every class and weather permitting, we’ll go outside the building to photograph a variety of subjects. Class will be held at Richland Area Community Center.
Pre-payment/registration required. Class size is limited so register early!
