It’s time to dig up your plants and bring them to the Perennial Exchange!
The concept is simple: bring your well-loved (or not-so-well loved) perennials to the Community Center, between 9 and 9:30, in labeled pots, boxes or plastic bags and go home with new plants! If you don’t get around to labeling, just bring the plants! At 9:45 am sharp, we’ll begin the exchange by talking about the plants we brought and sharing what we know. The exchange is held outside under the portico, rain or shine so dress appropriately, and bring your own coffee!
New to gardening? Join us! We have plants and knowledge to share—there are always extra plants. If you don’t have any to bring, we accept free-will donations in lieu of plants. This is a great way to expand your garden and try something new or share something you love. Not only that, you’ll get to visit with your neighbors!
We’re pleased to have the Late Bloomers with us, sharing their expertise. It’s a great way to spend Saturday morning. Don’t miss it! Saturday, May 1st, 9-11 a.m.
