Writers' Circle

Writers Write!

After a long winter hiatus, the writers' circle is back on a regular schedule, eager to share critique and inspire. Join us the second and fourth Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon for discussion and opportunity for feedback. Feel free to bring something written to share.

Check out the Calendar for specific dates.

The Writers' Circle is happy to announce publishing success among our writers!

Local fly fisherman John Zielke aimed to take his angling a step further. As a fishing guide and coach John wanted to share his knowledge with a more widespread audience by freelancing for sporting magazines. Last year John began participating in the RACC's writers' workshops, he's attended the writers' circle and he has met Bonnie Feldkamp for one-on-one coaching and critiques. Now his hard work has paid off. John has received his first freelance assignment with Midwest Fly-fishing Magazine. He is assigned a feature article, writing about Steelhead fishing.

Congratulations John! The writers' circle is very proud of you!
