Covenant Senior Day Program

A basic day of structured activities at Covenant Senior Day program could consist of Coffee and Conversation, Arts and Crafts, Cognitive Activities, Lunch, Cooking, Gardening, Outings, and Outdoor Activities. We provide a well-deserved break for senior caregivers, who are so busy caring for their loved ones, that they forget they have their own needs too. The Covenant program at the Richland Area Community Center site is open on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Stop in and see what we are all about. Pick up our monthly calendar which describes our activities for each day in more detail. Or call 629-5627 to set up a tour.

Tai Chi (Taiji)

Certified Instructor, Ed Kehoe, teaches this exercise to promote a healthy mind and body. Tai Chi is easy to learn, effective and safe. It increases flexibility, muscle strength, heart/lung activity, aligns posture, improves balance, and integrates the mind and body. Tai Chi is also effective in promoting a better quality of life and some pain relief for people with arthritis. Tai Chi is offered on Fridays from 9:30-10:30 a.m. every week.

Tai Chi will not meet during June, July and August.  See you again in September!
